Open the .dmg and drag Zwitch into Applications
Double-click the downloaded Zwitch.dmg. In the window that opens, drag the Zwitch icon onto the Applications folder — like below.
Launch Zwitch and pass Gatekeeper
Open Zwitch from Applications. macOS blocks the first launch (the app isn't notarized yet). Go to
System Settings → Privacy & Securityscroll down to the “Zwitch was blocked” message and click Open Anyway, then confirm with Touch ID or your password.
Follow the setup window
On first launch Zwitch opens a setup window that walks you through what to enable and where. It updates live — each step turns ✓ as you complete it.
For Accessibility: click the button in the window (or open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility), find Zwitch and turn on the toggle. If it isn't there, click “+” and pick Zwitch.
Trigger key (Fn by default)
The trigger is Fn / 🌐 by default — that's why the setup window asks you to free the Globe key. That's all you need to start.
Want a different key — Caps Lock or right ⌘? Click the Zwitch icon in the menu bar → “Settings…” and change it there.
If you switch to Caps Lock, make sure it isn't already assigned to switching input sources (Keyboard → Input Sources / Shortcuts).
Done
Tap your trigger — the layout switches instantly, cycling the languages already enabled in macOS. Launch at login is a toggle in Zwitch's settings.
